I love the cinematography in Lord of the Rings. Your image is very LOR :-). One way to achieve that look is to use the Orton effect http://www.tipsquirrel.com/orton-effect-with-photoshop-smart-filters/

I thought about creating something like that but it wasn’t necessary with this photo because of the thin layer of fog. This photo was taken before the fog settled in the forest 🙂 I didn’t know it was called Orton effect, thanks! 😀

Ahh that’s cool to know! I have never played that one but i did play the “The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II” and loved it! But this one is more strategy, not MMORPG 😀 I’m glad you found it similar Dawn, thank you!
